Our mission for the children
The main objective of SPES is to provide assistance to children in distress, internationally and particularly in Togo. It does so “in all appropriate forms, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force and with the International Convention on the Rights of the Child.” Respecting local culture is essential: the children remain Togolese and firmly rooted in their cultural heritage.
Provide shelter
Providing a home for orphaned or abandoned children or that were living with families that are facing severe hardship.
Educate
The education and academic support of these children from an early age through to higher studies.
Supporting them
Guiding them toward autonomy as they reach adulthood, including vocational training, higher education, and integration into society.

- In the year 2000, the association was founded;
- 2 centres : Lomé since 2001 and Kpalimé since 2009;
- 154 children in the centres today;
- 70 Young Adults launched into working life;
- Nearly 300 sponsors;
- 10 contributing countries .
